AMERICA SCAMMED AGAIN!
Tubularsock writes with potency and great humor about the condition the condition is in.
AMERICA SCAMMED AGAIN!
As Tubularsock has mentioned before, Donald Trump is the symptom as well as the result of an America that has fallen off the tracks.
Any country that spends its time at war and not at peace is a sick country.
Americans have been willingly led down the primrose path by leaders that really don’t have the general interest of the “people” at heart.
EVERYTHING has been corporatized and that is epitomized by Citizens United!
The very first give away is when something is entitled with the term “Citizens” …… yes, a dead give away!
That ALWAYS means that a real citizen isn’t within a thousand mile radius of the pronouncement.
Now, of course here is a Tubularsock aside: Have you ever wondered what would happen if the poor would form a Corporation?
They could infinitely expand their lifestyle incomes with golden parachutes and fly first class…

Origins of the police
In England and the United States, the police were invented within the space of just a few decades — roughly from 1825 to 1855.
The new institution was not a response to an increase in crime, and it really didn’t lead to new methods for dealing with crime. The most common way for authorities to solve a crime, before and since the invention of police, has been for someone to tell them who did it.
Besides, crime has to do with the acts of individuals, and the ruling elites who invented the police were responding to challenges posed by collective action. To put it in a nutshell: The authorities created the police in response to large, defiant crowds. That’s
— strikes in England,
— riots in the Northern US,
— and the threat of slave insurrections in the South. So the police are a response to crowds, not to crime.
The Five Points district of lower Manhattan, painted by George Catlin in 1827. New York’s first free Black settlement, Five Points was also a destination for Irish immigrants and a focal point for the stormy collective life of the new working class. Cops were invented to gain control over neighborhoods and populations like this.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Love and Sin
There are 6 distortions of love. Arrogance, Anger, Greed, Jealousy, Lust, and Delusion. Pupose of existence…move away from distortion to purity, back to the source.
Lust vs. Love
In lust – you do not consider the other person as life, you do not honor the life, you use them like an object – an object of your enjoyment
In love – there is surrender, you see the other person as divine, you elevate matter to the level of spirit
On Jealousy – the best cure for jealousy is the recognition that the life we have is full of its own meaning and beauty, utterly unique to us – a gift that can never be found in the life of another
On Problems – The self (Atman, spirit, soul, supreme consciousness) knows my degree of evolution, where I stand is what I require in order to learn many insights and to…

Trust the Path You Walk by Dr. Angela Heppner
Yes!
You never know or see them coming but once you lock eyes with them, get to know them, or share in their light, you realize that every moment spent with them that they will affect your life in some unique and profound way. Sometimes things can happen to you that at the time may seem painful, unfair, an injustice or uncalled for. Upon reflection however; you realize that without all of these obstacles you would have never realized or grew to know your real potential, your true strength, the will power you possess or your heart…

Something for Nothing
I bought my first Rush album in eighth grade. In memory, I go back to those days with albums, Pouring over the lyrics, sitting alone and just going into the music. Still my favorite all time band! I love this so much. It Resonates now, just as it did then. Thank you so much for posting!
always such a Rush fanatic.

Background and Commentary
“2112 closes with perhaps the clearest and most concise statement of purpose the band ever recorded. ‘Something for Nothing’ sounds like a call to action: ‘You don’t get something for nothing / You don’t get freedom for free / You won’t get wise with the sleep still in your eyes / No matter what your dream might be.'”—Bill Banasiewicz, Rush Visions
“The point of the whole song, though expressed in different ways, is you must be inner-directed if you are ever to follow your dreams to fruition. That doesn’t mean automatic rebellion against self-proclaimed authorities. If you felt you had to do the opposite of whatever they say to you, your action would still be controlled, albeit in a perverse way, by their commands. . . . This point is made strikingly by the clear allusion to the closing doxology of the Lord’s Prayer (‘For thine…
